Ministry Team

Mike Trotman The Revd. Mike Trotman became Rector in September 2020.

Revd. Mike served his curacy in The Avon Valley Churches, which is a multi-parish benefice, centred on Fordingbridge on the edge of the New Forest. Prior to ordination, Mike worked as a primary school teacher, and also has a background in marketing and facilities management. He has a particular interest in developing fresh expressions of church and community outreach.                                                                                                                                                                                                            Mike is married to Heidi, who has a background in nursing and pastoral care, and they have two teenage children called Sam and Phoebe. The Trotman family are also Pug lovers, with two little treasures called Dibley and Pippa. Dog walking around Ashley Cross Green and Whitecliff Park has already proven to be a great way of getting to know people.                                                                                                                                                                           It is with great excitement that Mike and his family commence this new chapter in the life of St Peter’s, by being a beacon of God’s love in this vibrant community and sharing Christ’s love to all.
