Additional information

We’re thrilled to announce a special “In The Nave” bank holiday event on Friday 28th August featuring a trio of fabulous artists.

First up is Bristol’s finest, Elder Island. Their genre-blurring sound seamlessly weaves together electronica, house, neo-soul, indie and pop. Just a couple of weeks ago, they released their new album “Hello Baby Okay” which has received rave reviews. The album boasts fantastic singles like Ordinary Love, Pink Lemon, Snapshot, Letters and Faster Faster. Over the years, they’ve amassed over 375 million streams of their incredible back catalogue.

Joining Elder Island is Alexis Taylor, best known as the lead vocalist, keyboardist and guitarist for the legendary Hot Chip. As a solo artist, Alexis has produced seven amazing albums, with the latest, “Paris In The Spring”, released in March. This album features guest appearances from Air’s Nicolas Godin, The Avalanches, Lola Kirke and Green Gartside.

Finally, we’re excited to welcome the one and only Eddie Chacon. Eddie made a lasting impact on popular music as half of the duo Charles & Eddie. Their 1992 hit “Would I Lie to You” became a global number one. The group’s 4-million-records-sold success lasted a few years, after which Eddie spent the next couple of decades building a career as a photographer and creative director. He returned to music in 2020, collaborating with John Carroll Kirby, and signed to Stones Throw Records in 2022. Currently, he’s deep in album writing, and we’re thrilled to have him join this stellar line-up of artists.
