On Saturday February 13th we will be welcoming the fabulous Hayden Thorpe. He will perform the Wild Beasts songbook for the first time in almost 9 years. Playing entirely solo, the shows will be an exploration of the much-loved collection in their purest form – voice and instrument, as they were written.

“I’m fortunate enough that in my daily life I will quite often encounter a kind soul who’ll tell me how much a certain Wild Beasts song, album or show has meant to them. I’ve come to learn that as time passes, the heart’s connections do not fade and the potency of the music remains strong.

I’ve been missing the songs myself of late, so it felt like a ripe time to reach for the high notes and call on my hand’s muscle memory. It’s a full-circle manoeuvre as the dates perfectly align with the 20th anniversary of Wild Beasts first single release, “Brave Bulging Buoyant Clairvoyants”.
